In 1888, the Rioters had a record of 28-22.

A business web site says: The unusual nickname for this club came from the labor unrest in Pennsylvania's anthracite fields, where most of the workers were from Eastern Europe.

Shenandoah Huns, 1894-95 in the Pennsylvania State League.

Hungarian Rioters and Huns. Can’t get more Eastern Europe than that.
