There is a special place in Hell…

…for those who hurt children and those who take advantage of old people.

Jazz Jennings “was assigned male at birth,” Wikipedia says. That means (1) he had male parts, and (2) some people believe birth parts don’t matter in determination of sex. Wikipedia also says Jazz was “diagnosed with gender identity disorder at five years old.”

My understanding is that Jazz was raised as a girl, principally by his mother. Both parents, medical doctors, psychologists and psychiatrists are responsible, then, for the boy’s belief that he is really a girl. His parents and dozens of educated people made the boy into a girl.

It is not my place to decide who goes to Hell and who does not. But if I had a vote, all those people who made the boy into a girl would at least have a front row seat.
