Emerson College in Boston last year suspended the conservative student group Turning Point USA for distributing stickers stating “China Kinda Sus.”
Here is my
letter to Emerson.
“In Emerson’s
fight against racism, your web site proclaims: ‘Dismantling systemic racism is a
College-wide issue that requires College-wide action.’
“The
statement announces the on-campus presence of racism, which infers the presence
of intolerance on your campus. That is, if racism is a college-wide issue,
racism exists on the Emerson campus.
“The
existence of intolerance is not surprising, considering Emerson’s recent suspension
of Turning Point USA for pointing out racism in the People’s Republic of China.
The Communist nation has a long history of executing millions of its citizens
for protesting Marxist-Leninist-Mao ideas.
“Emerson
College must reinstate Turning Point USA. Otherwise, people might think there
are endowments from Communist China. “
I
am awaiting a reply, but I am not holding my breath.
Good on you. Ridicule is a powerful weapon and the Right uses it far too little.
