Russian prosecutor’s office blocks Caucasian news site

From Caucasian Knot

Dear readers,

The "Caucasian Knot" has been working for you since 2001. We have always tried to write truthfully and honestly about what happens in the regions of Southern Russia, and in Northern and Southern Caucasus. But today the "Caucasian Knot" is blocked in the territory of the Russian Federation by the decision of the Russia's General Prosecutor's Office (GPO).

We have been working for more than 20 years not to suddenly stop informing you about the developments in our regions. The website blocking does not mean that we give up. We don't refuse from honest news reports; and the most important thing for us is to be with you, our readers. We continue working; our website is still accessible from outside Russia and we encourage everyone who reads us from the territory of Russia to install a VPN in order to continue reading and watching our materials as usual. We also offer you to download the application of the "Caucasian Knot" for IOS and Android to your smartphones. Even without installing a VPN, you can read us on the Telegram and watch our videos on the YouTube. Through a VPN, you can follow us on the Facebook and Twitter.

Let's be together and stay connected!

Your "Caucasian Knot".

I read the Caucasian Knot daily. Russia’s order does not apply to U.S. servers. However, I am unable to read RT News. That site was blocked earlier in the week by Western governments at the order of EU bureaucrats in Brussels. With one news site blocked by Russia and another blocked by Western governments, I figure I am reading good news. More than a bit slanted at times, but, overall, informative.
