Civil War is predicted and hoped for by some. So far, we have no organized

We know who our enemy are, (the deep state, media and democrats)
I do not wish for this
For several decades I have wondered why so many Northerners decided to take up arms, go south and through death and destruction, force substantially fewer people into subservience. I have asked the question, but never received an answer. It's as though "It just happened." I asked the question at a history faculty meeting, and did not get an answer, nor even a reply, except from the department dean who said his great-grandfather walked from St. Louis to somewhere in Illinois to enlist in a Union regiment, but, he said, "I never asked him why."
