Weight of ocean water pushing down seabed

That’s why NYC is not under water. Newsweek says so, anyway.

“So much extra water is being added to the world’s oceans from melting glaciers that the ocean floor is sinking underneath the increasing weight. This ocean floor deformation also means we have miscalculated just how much ocean levels are rising, and the problem could be far worse than previously believed.”

OK. Glad to know that. Now I understand.

But isn’t that a good thing? Otherwise all coastal lands would now be under 2 or 6 meters of seawater, right?

Do the global warmists want NYC flooded? Well, yes. Anything to prove they are right.
