(Town of Beaver Dam) Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies helped a Town of Beaver Dam man with an unwanted intruder. Authorities were dispatched to a residence on Kellom Road Thursday evening around 10:30pm. According to the sheriff’s briefing, the caller reported that he was sitting on his couch when he was nearly bit by a woodchuck. The animal was not located but deputies assisted the caller in fixing a hole in the floor.

The town of Beaver Dam is not to be confused with the nearby city of Beaver Dam. The city had a census population of 16,214 in 2010 and was the largest city in Dodge County Wisconsin.
