A business lesson

My first semester of college I worked a couple of months as a bouncer at a club in Texarkana, Arkansas. The club had been a restaurant at one time and had a large kitchen area, but no longer sold food. The former kitchen was used to store bottles of colas, mineral water, tonic water  and ice. The club was a bring your own bottle establishment and sold buckets of ice, water and colas for mixing with whiskey.

At closing time, there always were bottles left at tables, some bottles with liquid remaining. One night after closing I went into the kitchen area and saw waitresses combining left over colas, while others filled mineral water bottles at the kitchen sink.

Just another lesson on how some businesses will do anything to make as much money as possible.
