Minister Marco Mendicino “asked the province to help confiscate 30,000
newly-restricted firearms beginning this fall,” said Alberta Justice Minister
Taylor Shandro.
“Those firearms were
purchased legally and the province will not aid the federal government in
confiscating them, Shandro said.”
