“JERUSALEM (AP) — Goliath the Greek? Human
remains from an ancient cemetery in southern Israel have yielded precious bits
of DNA that a new study says help prove the European origin of the Philistines
— the enigmatic nemeses of the biblical Israelites.”
This should settle present-day Palestinian
arguments that Jews never lived in the Middle East, but were Europeans who
stole land from the original settlers, the accusatory Palestinians.
Except…Palestinians have never been a people who
paid attention to history. And, never mind that Philistines and Palestinians
have only one thing common: A desire to eliminate Jews.
No doubt this scientific finding will be labeled a
“Zionist plot.”
