Greece wants ancient bronze that might not be Greek or ancient

The bronze horse reportedly “dates from the 8th century BC, but with it’s (sic) abstracted elegant form would not look out of place in a contemporary art exhibition.

However, “Our first record of the existence of the sculpture is in the catalogue of the May 6, 1967 Münzen und Medaillen auction in Switzerland.

“Before that point we know nothing.

The bronze has become famous as an antiquity, but its age … Well, maybe not so much.

The art world is a scene of theft, bribery, and deception practiced by people with much money and few morals. Just an opinion.
