Pistol shooting

My wife, our former exchange student and I shot for about an hour at Bullseye Range in Palmetto this morning.

K, our former exchange student, used a 9mm Israeli Jericho pistol. She got settled in after a dozen rounds from two magazines and began getting center hits on almost every session after, six magazines worth. Her last session, she shot out a two-inch circle at 10 o’clock on the target. She is good.

My wife fired 15 rounds from her S&W Lightweight. She put lead on paper with 10 rounds. She needs to shoot more and toughen up her hand, or, as she said, wear a Band Aid in the arch of her right thumb and index finger.

I fired seven rounds from the Jericho and got hits on the 9 and 10 circles, most in the center. I also fired 72 rounds from the Lightweight and put most in the center.

We fired from 10 meters.

A good time was had by all.

K is from a country where owning a pistol is almost impossible.
