Don’t know if the post is true, but I wouldn’t be surprised

“My buddy is in AIT right now and got his 1st extremist briefing the other day. They were told the capitol protestors are enemies of the Army ‘but we still have to protect people like them. For now.’ Note a blindingly bright warning signs in those last 4 words: like them. for now.” 

“The Company was asked to give examples of extremism they’ve seen in the US. One guy was from Portland and antifa has ruined his city. Instructor said ‘we aren’t looking to talk about things like that.’”

With all the time and words and pictures spent on the subject, soldiers probably expected to hear more than what they got. Apparently, almost all of the material covered right-wing groups, no lefties need apply for inclusion as dangerous.
