Here’s the deal: Comparing hungry,
unsheltered National Guard soldiers with illegals relaxing in hotel rooms with
hot water, TV and room service is not part of the narrative. Guard soldiers
are supposed to stand behind wire fences or walk guard behind wire fences and
be in TV news videos. That was their role. Whatever happens back stage is
somebody else’s problem.
